PLEASE PRAY FOR MY MOM, MY BEST FRIEND CARMELLA, AND CARMELLA'S MOM TODAY AND TOMORROW AS THEY TRAVEL TO COME VISIT ME! 

ALSO PLEASE PRAY FOR MY NERVES AND THAT THEY WILL CALM.  IT IS HARD AWAITING CALLS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE LANDED SAFELY AND MADE THEIR FLIGHTS AND TRAINS OK ;)  THANKS!

Well, the festival was ok.  I mean I had a really nice time buying gifts for everyone and looking at the work that people here do.  It was also great to see the different costumes, but I am sun burnt and tired from two 11 hour days of sitting at a booth! lol.  It is a good thing I came up with the face painting idea!  We said that it was free, but we got so many donations from face painting that we were able to pay for our booth plus some.  Last year they only made enough to pay for the booth.  We only sold 4 of our 15 glasses, but we still did ok money wise.  I was glad.  Our purpose isn't to be there for the money but to be seen by the public, but it doesn't hurt :) 

I was frustrated though that no one from the church came to help at all!  Christoph, Conny and myself were the only ones... well Jasmina showed up, but she only stayed for like 20 minutes.  I was supposed to have the evening off yesterday to do what I wanted, but I didn't want to leave Christoph and Conny alone.  It is a lot when  you don't have enough people to take breaks and stuff. 

All in all it was a good weekend and my birthday was amazing thanks to the greatest best friend a girl could ever have! 

Thursday she, my mom and her mom will be here with me and I cannot wait!

it snowed in the mountains today.  it is really nice to see when you come outside everyday!  i was able to spend some time yesterday with a couple of 16 and 17 year old girls, Meta and Maru¹a.  i met them here at the library and have been getting to know them a little.  they are really sweet girls and yesterday they took me to a monastary about 20 minutes walk from kamnik to show me the church.  it was really nice walking with them and talking with them.  i was able to get a little bit of God in too when they asked me some questions.  they asked if they could hang out with me again on Saturday evening too.  i am not sure what we will do yet, but i am really glad that they are inviting me and not the other way around.  i dont feel like i am pressuring them that way.  i ask that you pray that they continue to ask questions that allow me to share my experiences with God in my life with them and that i will be a good influence on their lives.  thanks so much for all of your prayers!

also, please be in prayer for my best friend Carmella, my mom Anita, and Carmellas mom Jane as they prepare for their visit to come see me.  They will be leaving on Sept. 12th and returning to the states on Sept. 26th.  pray that the moms nerves are calmed about their first plane rides and first times across the ocean and that carmella has the strength to handle them lol ;)  also pray for safety for them all and that their time here will go slowly so that we can all enjoy it to its fullest!  thanks!
